Steve Guilford

Steve joins Forensic Interview Solutions with two decades of service with the New Zealand Government at the border with New Zealand Customs, Justice with the then Department of Courts and Inland Revenue as an investigator and Team Leader.

Steve brings years of practical experience primarily as a forensic accountant investigating and interviewing financial matters in both civil and criminal justifications. 

These interviews have been completed as either voluntary interviews or under Compulsory Powers. 

Training has included the 5-day P.E.A.C.E. interviewing course conducted by the New Zealand Police and attending international conferences to keep current. 

He also brings extensive knowledge and experience in training development and delivery that includes the P.E.A.C.E framework.

Training development and delivery included tailoring existing interview models using the P.E.A.C.E framework for financial investigation and the development of testing scenarios. 

Steve was a senior instructor, and the training was delivered to over 700 financial investigation staff.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Management Studies degree from the University of Waikato, is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Chartered Accountants Association of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). 

Steve has completed additional studies and is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist holding full membership of both organizations.
